Primary stats come from NBA’s own statistical API. Availability is cross-checked with public injury feeds. We do not ingest odds or news articles.

NBA Stats API

Box scores, game rotations, season and advanced player stats, and on/off details. This is the source of minutes, usage, true shooting, and the inputs to Role Stability and Minutes Impact.

Official injury report

When the league PDF is available it is treated as the live status source. Tags are stored as OUT, doubtful, questionable, probable, or available — not as a narrative diagnosis.

ESPN public APIs

Scoreboard, game summary, and media availability as a cross-check. Betting markets and editorial news are out of scope.
